Fleetwood Mac

This week I wanted to share and/or introduce you guys with a band that most can relate to because I most certainly can! Where do I even begin when it comes to Fleetwood Mac?! First and foremost, this rock band is hands down my all-time favorite for many reasons ESPECIALLY because Stevie Nicks is one of the most talented singers in history. I had the opportunity to see them perform live with my mother and sister and I must say it was an experience of a life time! They’ve had many members in and out of the band throughout the early 60’s reaching the early 90’s. However, my passion for their music that was released and published will never change. I listen to Fleetwood Mac almost every week while I’m driving in the car or just having back ground music while I’m studying. For those who don’t know, Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band, formed in London in 1967. It wasn’t until 1974 when they were scouting studios in Los Angeles proceeding to add Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks into the band after their guitarist previously left. If you haven’t listened to this band I highly recommend it!!!

Some of their songs I really enjoy the most include the following: “Dreams,” “The Chain,” “Everywhere,” “Landslide,” “Go Your Own Way,” “Rhiannon,” and “Gold Dust Woman.”

The Eagles Band

“I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we are from, everyone loves music.” -Billy Joel

Welcome to my first music blog post!

For my first blog post, I choose The Eagles Band to express my connection with the music they have released for all of their fans including myself. The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971. The founding members were Glenn Frey (guitars, vocals), Don Henley (drums, vocals), Bernie Leadon (guitars, vocals), and Randy Meisner (bass guitar, vocals). This band has published songs that help me get through my good days, bad days, and on days when life just seems so overwhelming. Their lyrics give me a sense of clarity, peacefulness and most importantly calms my mind and soul. Throughout my entire life this is all I have ever known and grew up listening to. My family is huge on classic rock, and The Eagles definitely make the cut for our top 5 classic rock artists.

Some of my absolute favorite songs by The Eagles consist of: “Already Gone”, “Hotel California”, “Take It Easy”, “One of These Nights”, and “Witchy Woman.”
